The Incinerate spell sends out a wave of molten flame towards it's target.  The wave of incenidary flame is magically generated, and burns the target for 1d6 points of damage per caster level (maximum 15d6 points per level).  The spell also causes the victim's clothes and anything easily prone to ignition to ignite, causing 2d6 points of secondary damage for 3 rounds.

The wave of fire travels in the direction you indicate with your hand, flowing from a point of creation at your palm.  It does not flow in a straight line, but in a wave pattern.  Scholars who study spell physics are completely baffled as to why it flows as a wave.  The spell also creates hardly any pressure, and can't be modified by impact spell, it's a wave of fiery heat.[1]

Notes Edit

  • Incinerate is a warlock ability learned at level 10 for those with the Destruction specialization. Replacing [Shadow Bolt], it deals fire damage and generates Burning Embers. Introduced in World of Warcraft the MMO and included in More Magic and Mayhem.
  • This spell is powerful enough to be sixth level on it's own and does not need to be nerfed.
