An agathion (pronounced a-GATH-ee-on)[1] is a member of a group of neutral good-aligned outsiders who have delayed transcendence in order to defend the realm of Nirvana and meditate on its deeper mysteries. Each group of agathions follows the teachings of a transcended elder master, a powerful agathion that has been granted far greater power by the plane itself. This arrangement is not any sort of strict hierarchy as these creature do not try to enforce their will on others but are universally acknowledged. As well as contemplating the nature of Nirvana each of the agathion races have their own specific roles from guardians to messengers to bards.[2] The agathions also send representatives to *insert neutral good god hear* to help mortal souls reach a more enlightened state.[3]
